Wife had a get together. Had the kitchen stove in use. I was forced to use the wood stove. I say forced but was just looking for an excuse

One of my favorite ways to cook in the winter.
Saves on electricity and heats the house.

That addition to the pipe looks like a turbo damper!  Yes sir, that is camping out in the house and there ain't nothing better than the smell of bacon on a camp out.

We use ours mostly to reheat leftovers wrapped in tin foil.  Also use these new grill cooking mats on top so spills are easy cleanup.
