I would like to install a battery disconnect on my '73 JD 440B skidder. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks

Any auto parts store should have one. I am thinking of one that have a lever on it that goes up and down. It just slides in between two pieces of metal when it's on. Simple.

I put one on my 440b a few years ago. I put it in the left rear corner of the middle section of the floor. It is on the ground side of the batteries. I had to custom make cables. It was kind of a slow process because of limited room. The cables have to be exactly the right length and the terminals in the right orientation so they don't rub.
