Fired up my new LT40HD today. Right off, took handy set-up pamplet. did what it said(well almost). Hydralics wouldn't work, oops forgot, Will said set it had to have contact on strip. Works good, if you remember that. Put log on arm, raised, log turned on rails(knots not cut clean). So after about 25 mistakes, all seems to be going well. Only took me 2 hours to cut 9 cedar 4x4. After all the aggravation(self-induced) have decided, LOVE my orange. Thanks to all
on the forum that helped guide me.
Too much work-not enough pay.

sounds like me on my first day. at least you didn't toast any blades. I wasted three till I figured out the feed speed. I bought mine used and my wife went and picked it up so I went in blind. Have had a chance to play a little and milled 2500bf for a customer. I'm totaly happy witht he mill. Beats the heck outa the manual mill I had before. LeeB
