Post by: stihltoomany on February 29, 2020, 04:42:56 PM

Working loose indicated that there is something keeping something from getting tight.  Take everything apart and give it a good wire brushing and cleaning.  Is there anything rusted away?  No need for Loctite.  Properly tightened will not loosen.

Are both locknuts on? Top and bottom?

This has been a problem since the beginning. Have replaced entire guide roller mounting assembly. My blade seems to have flutter in it but saws fine. Replacing B57s to see if that helps. All bearing seem fine. Thanks for suggestions.

By "flutter" are you describing blade oscillation before it enters the log?  If so blade tension can/will affect this oscillation.

Earlier you were questioning the guide working loose?  Is this still a problem?
