I've been collecting various tools for timber framing and have purchased a boring machine.  If someone could help me identify it, I would be greatly appreciated.  I've got a 1" bit for it and am looking to acquire a 1.5" and a 2".  Thanks!!

would anyone happen to know what species wood was used when this tool was assembled?  I need to replace two pieces in the rise of the machine.
