Some folks call them a Surprise Lilly or a Spider Lilly.

They spring up seemingly overnight and will always make you smile.

We have lots of lillies on our farm. We love them and they are easy to care for. Are your surprise lillies confined just to warm climates. They are pretty striking.

Magic, the lilies I got from you are blooming here as well. My grandfather had an old saying about them, "When the Spider Lilies bloom, it will be 6 weeks to frost." It works out pretty close from what I have seen.

MM, we have a jump up of surprise lilies here as well. Here, spider lilies are a white flowered large plant, usually found in wet, marshy areas.

as much as I hate the heat, I so aint ready for the frost to get here...man seams like I am so far behind in what needs get done it might be spring before I get there..... :embarassed:

I am slowly getting ready Danny, tomorow morning I have a rendez-vous in Littleton NH to have a Boss V-plow installed on my pick-up. I would though, really really appreciate having a late arrival of said glaciers..... I can postpone trying the plow out for as long as I can. :-\

I went to Littleton NH and got my plow installed on the pick-up. Its only an hour and a half away and Sprucebunny came over the mountain and we toured around for the day. Had a great time and visite with Joan, Thanks for the great supper Joan.

Got back here early this afernoon with the Boss V-Plow hooked to the front.

Boss XT V-Plow 8'2" Smart Touch command in the truck.

That looks like a mean machine. Can picture you now, with a fresh 12" of snow and seeing it fly out both directions as you shoot down the road. 8)

Beenthere .... Please, please put your prayers to better use ... please . :D :D :D ( That 12" would be a peice of cake to drive through with this plow . ) But no need to have any praying done for me to try it out on it .... ;)
