good luck but if he only cut line trees you may not have much luck even though he is wrong it may be it that grey area where a good kick in the seat of his pants is your only option :-\  but your laws may be different :)

Glad he is not my neighbor, but the owner may not know what the logger has done. If the line trees are cut and the corner markers are present see if you can see from marker to marker. In the past I have logged adjoining tracts of timber and the owners agreed to cut line trees. After this a good plan has been to plant a line of trees that are not the norm for the area. Here we mostly plant loblolly pine, so planting a row of white pine or red cedars creates a living line. This may be a thought to help with marking the line for the future. Good luck.
