A frend and I are planing a low budget trip to Daytona Bike Week. 8)


 Does anyone know of an inexpensive place to camp nearby ?

yeah the wife and I went there two years ago with two other couples for three days, it was a blast.its one of those things you have to see to believe. ;D

Remember the Flea Market just west of I-95, right at the Daytona exit??? They had campers there last week.

  Also, take the Ormond Beach exit, north of Daytona, and go west a few miles. Volusia County Speedway had a sign up today that said camping, I believe right across the road from their race track ;D

Thanks, my buddy found a campground nearby for $11. a nite per person with showers.But it seems that he is backing out now. oh well I guess ill spend  my money on stuff for the mill.

on again off again, another frend of mine is a trucker and may be going but wont know until tuesday nite. He said he has room for two bikes on his rig.

If we go I'll contact you, maybe you'll have time for coffee. :)

  Hate to say it, but, if ya ain't gonna bring yer boat, you probably won't enjoy the trip. It's rained so much the past few days, we went up yesterday, and came back today???

  I can just see ya beddin down for the night and waking up somewhere in Ga. or Ala. Today alone, in 6 hours, the St. John's River, (BIG) rose about 8". Now, if ya got one of them ARGO's  :) :)

  Yesterday, going up, we passed a whole whack of them electric motor driven Honda's. You couldn't hear 'em runnin. Makes ya wanna upchuck ::) ::)  I Don'T ride, but, I LIKES that LOUD Harley exhaust sound. PURE D American ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
