Anyone have any experiance with a Timberjack 608? Looked at a 608B and 608S. Any downfalls to either models that you know of? What are the differences between them?

i looked at them some when i was in the market for a buncher, then ended up buying a 653 JD, what sold me on the 653 was no tail swing, the 608 does have some tail,  no tail makes selective cutting a little easier as you are not swinging into trees you want to save which can easily happen because of the huge blind spots in both machines, other than that the 608 seemed really nice. Not much of a help im sure, but something to think about anyways.

There is not much room in the rear compartment to work on the hydraulics. They blow o rings constantly. If u buy one make sure u get metric o rings. Also invest in Hydraulic oil. Your gonna need alot of it.
