Title: rim sprokets
Post by: glenn440 on February 02, 2019, 12:37:34 PM
Recently bought a 42" bar and chain combo from Baileys - part  PMC42SS63 for my MS660.
Did not realize it at the time but find out today that the gauge is .063 when all my previous stuff was .050
This is a matched bar and chain but does it require a different sprocket from the normal Stihl 006421223?
Would think that as long as it is the same pitch the sprocket should not be different?

That is correct, chain gauge does not affect the sprocket.
