That's a nice looking machine , I'd love to have one out here and dig out my ponds a little deeper. I find it interesting that it has a borg Warner velvet drive. My boat has the velvet drives and I had no clue they used them on anything but boats.

JD used them in some forklifts.

We've got my wife's Grandpa's MF 50 split for a clutch replacement now.  The kit will be here Friday but after ordering it I discovered the throw out carrier needs to be replaced.  The bearing has been spinning on it.  Can't order one until Friday.  Once it's back together we're going to tear into the Hoe.  One thing at a time.

I bought my case 450 from laquilla construction in brooklyn NY for about half of what it woulda been anywhere else.  They were trying to get rid of 3 or 4 of the biggest 4wd dynahoes, all lived inside a huge hangar.

I guess there was a prominent dealer somewhere in the tristates area back in the 1970s.  Maybe barge knows.

The 4X4s had Allison autos.  They weighed over 20,000 lbs.
