I have used a LT40 hydraulic for 7 years and just realized today that I don't know how the power is transferred between the battery and the starter/alternator.  The head moves up and down and there is no visible power strip, like the one for the hydraulic motor.  I have not ventured inside the machine except to tighten the main belts.

John, You Sir are a bad man !!

Actually I have never even thought about it but on mine there is only one way.  It has to go up the square tube to the Control Box and then into the flexible corrugated tube to the engine.
