Looks like a clever design to split easily-split woods. I like the fact that the upper lip will keep the head from continuing through the split. Should reduce hitting dirt floor or worse yet, the rocks below.

Have trouble with the twist to the handle that will transfer to the wrists if one doesn't relieve the grip (that might be hard to learn but surely necessary or end up in some pain). Also, can split only from one side.

But we have another axe to give our attention to now.  ;D
