Setting pitch in Pine

I have a load of EWP in the kiln , almost done. It is at 160F, 
I understand I need 180f to set the pitch , how long does it need at 180?
Is it just a quick surface heat , up to 180 and shut it down?

I don't have a kiln, but I have in my notes from Dr. Gene, 180° F for 24 hours is preferred

At 160 F, you can set most of the pitch that would be liquid at room temperature in 24 hours.  If you can go to 180 F, after being at 160, probably six hours will be fine.

Thanks Guys, I pulled the wood at 160. It had been 155-160 for 3 days in my kiln, water coming out dropped drastically so I pulled it out.  
They are going to counter tops and a table. I have been working on these EWP logs and slabs for a customer , 16 months. I have sawn and Dried over 3000 bd ft of wood from his 2 EWP trees. I also took the mill to his property to mill another 5k bd ft. stacked, stickers, bunked and built covers for his wood.  For my 1st year in business he was a great customer to have help pay the bills.
