Amazing item for Kiln Drying

I have a neighbour who wanted to donate this carving to a rehab center, drug and mental addictions center for men. 
I volunteered to sterilze the carving for them. 
This carving came from Spain 15 years ago.
They noticed ants coming out of the bottom as it had been kept outdoors. It is now going into a indoor faculty . They run sweat lodges and wanted this carving to post outside the lodge.

That's neat.  I guess a kiln could be seen as a sweat lodge for wood.
