I have cleared out some space in a climate controlled room for some of my wood because my lumber yard is getting too full. I'm kiln drying some of my pine and poplar lumber down to indoor use mcs. What is the most appropriate humidity level for the storage space. I have hearing and air and a small dehumidifier at my disposal. The would will eventually end up in a climate controlled house with hvac and wood heat. I am in humid Virginia.

Thanks!

I run my dehumidifiers in my lumber rooms at 40% humidity which will keep wood at 8% equilibrium moisture content.
