I got something for Christmas from my lovely wife. It is intended to be used in the shop. Ever since I took it out there, I have used it almost every day. I wish I would have gotten one sooner! Since I already gave you a bunch of hints, I will allow 10 questions about it before I post the answer.

But as a cleanup is ruled out... umm... I'm stumped.

You wouldn't believe how handy this is for explaining things to people. I had to use it to draw out a wiring diagram for a table saw to get it right in my head. I think she said it was less than $10.

I am thinking it will also come in handy for to-do lists, or notes to myself of things not to forget. I have also been thinking about writing down my starting time and stopping time each day so I can keep track of how much time I have into different projects.

I went to a older gentleman wood shop and he had a intercom. Really comes in handy. Really does if someone gets hurt too.

Pretty good idea, I need something similar instead of writing phone numbers on the side of my good cabinet where the land line used to be. I always like the number for 911 where I can see it.

Notice how I hung the dry erase board on the door of the shop? Thats one of the only areas that is sure to not have junk piled in front of it. ::)

that's a good one!  My dry erase board is on the ground and gets trampled all the time, 
only have a few chain saws I'm not suppose to use, but will at times, one dog Dolly, pretty good dog, just not sure what for yet,  working on getting the gardening back in order, and kinda thinking on maybe a small bbq bizz,  thinking about it,

She's safety minded, sparing you from chalk dust.   But you need to vent it for fumes from the marker.

I am planning on having a big dry erase board in my shop when the interior sheeting is done. Waaaaayyyy to handy!

Trouble is it will remind me of work, I use them every day...........teaching! :D :D

  We have intercom on the portable phones, I put in the phone line to the shop when I was building it, and now have one of the portables in there. We found the intercom by accident...  ::) Now she uses it quite often  :-\   :-\
