Title: Insect ID
Post by: Dan_Shade on July 14, 2021, 06:46:35 PM
A friend of mine has these in white oak trees.

They bore a hole straight into the tree

Any ideas on what it could be?

These tired eyes can't make it out that well but I think I'm seeing a long proboscis. Google oak timberworm and see if that's a candidate.
