I'd do it but someone would tell and then there would be hell to pay!

Here's one to keep you entertained. 

On our recent return from Cody, WY,  we stopped at North Platte for the night.  We'd been in the room for about an hour.  I'd set up the laptop and checked in on the Forum, etc.   I asked Mary if she wanted some coffee.  She says, "There is coffee in the bathroom."   Oh,  I thought, she'd made coffee.   I didn't see her make coffee but I could have missed that. I go to the bathroom and there is no coffee.  I say,  "I thought you said there is coffee in the bathroom?"  She says, "There is, but you have to make it.".   I says, "Then there is only a coffee maker, water and coffee grounds – but there is no coffee.  Do you want some coffee?"  (I think we went around and around a couple of times about the coffee, machine, etc.)  I say,  "The lobby is just downstairs,  I'll go get some."  And did.  I never found out if she actually wanted coffee or not. But she drank it once I got it.

Knowing when to keep your mouth shut is one of the secrets of a successful marriage, IMHO.
