525A Cat skidder engine trouble.

Another guy I know called me, having issues losing oil, I'm talking ALOT of oil. Engine has no time on it, new head, new turbo, been gone thru supposedly. Pull the stick on the trans and she is overfull and black. Is there something other than a rear seal to leak on a 3304T, most likely cause ? I've never touched one and I know alot of you guys have. No other way to fix it other than yank it out ?

Barge, more than likely it is a the rear seal.  That machine has a wet converter and oil leaking out of the rear seal goes directly into the transmission.
