Can they be sharpened by me or do I need to send them in? I have a lot of 10 in. blades and need a sharp one. Curious, Harold

You probably need some sort of diamond wheel grinder to sharpen them.

All the swingblade mills run carbide tips, and come with a battery powered grinder to sharpen them in place on the mill. The grinders are not cheap though. Unless you expect to sharpen a LOT, probably more economical to send them to a saw doc.

I have used mine enough to be comfortable with it now. I have had good results. Just do them like any other blade, sharpen before they get too dull.

Those sharpeners work good, might find a little better model on Ebay.
