I take it the shaft is not tapered?

hello...
i work at a Husqvarna shop and so far i have found the part number is 501 25 24 01
i think thats the number....the parts list for those old saws are hard to read.
tomorrow i will check to see if there are any in the system in eastern canada
its possible that there is some "dead' stock that dosent show up in normal inventory.

the last time it was available here...in stock that is.was 2005.
it listd at 86 and change cdn.
lot of money in my opinion.
it was on just about all the husky saws from that era with point iginition.

im still trying to get in contact with another source of parts but im not holding out much hope for it.
you might try asking on the chainsaw performance forum.
lot of collector and old saw owners there.
