After 3 1/2 years of sawing and collecting slabs.....I'm getting lots of interest advertising "Dry Slabs".
A lot of folks want to work with wood in the building sense......but can't visualize what the finish will look like or even know how to finish a slab.....or may not have a planer or sanders.

I'm still selling raw slabs but now I have started advertising "finished" slabs.

So just in the evening when I get a chance after supper, I've starting dedicating my time to sanding 1 slab and start the poly or oiling the next morning before going to the mill.

I think sales will pick up......as it will give customer$ an option now.  ;D

There flat on the back side.

Peter, I didn't take the bark off....literally. I let these slabs air dry for 2 1/2 years under my Dads porch.
What bark came off naturally....came off. Any bark that stays on and is securely intact......I feather in the edges when sanding.

Danny, I could only get the MC down to 12% before OUR temps and humidity started rising. I put them in our dining room back in April and got it down to 8-9%. I built my Maple coffee table at 9% and it stills looks great.
