064 ?

so i been bucking up firewood with my 064,she wood die after 15 min or so,and try to start it would  pop but not start,it would start if i ;et it sit overnight and work the same for 15 min,so i thought coil was getting hot,got a new proline coil but can seem to get it started, what to check?? thanks ,stan

Muffler / spark arrestor screen plugged or gas tank not venting would be my top two choices.

so does the coil need a  10 thou gap, the new coil seen to be rubbing on the flywheel,englongate the screw more? thanks

Yes, the coil should have .010" gap to work properly.

and make sure you got the correct coil that matches your flywheel as there are different coils for the 064 .  064 is a very good saw and made alot of loggers switch from husky 281's to the 064
