I've always wanted more workspace in my kitchen at the cabin so this winter decided to build one. I just finished it this week. It made from Red Oak I cut from my property. I am limited in my supply of woodworking tools and only have a cheap small HF table saw I pull out from time to time, so I bought a dado blade (it almost cost as much as the saw) and used it to shiplap the side boards.
