Thank you Bill and Ray!  These donations are huge for the memorial thus year as there is a very real chance now our annual fund raiser might be canceled.

So far this year only a third as many have responded here as last. While I am eternally grateful to those that have stepped up, I am personally disappointed that is all we could do.

I'm with Jeff on this level of participation we have.  I understand everyone has their priorities and worries during this period we are going through, lots of people on this forum may have already lost their job. I had to tell our one non family worker to remain home the next two weeks as a minimum. France I just heard is pretty close to martial law. So why is this memorial important?  Because it represents the spirit of America and all the sacrifices this country has been through. It's appropriate this is located in "tiny little Coleman" and not NYC or LA, because it is the people of the heartland of this country who sacrifice the most. Those that read this forum.  Do the right thing and make a pledge to this country, by way of the Coleman Memorial.  Seriously, Brad

@Jeff, sorry I have been so busy, have planned on helping out.  it is done.  if we are getting close, I would appreciate knowing how far we have to go, and it might make a difference.  I know not everyone is able to help as much as they would like during the current crisis.  thanks all!  sorry for the delay and any unease it may have caused!

Sent via the PP link, very nice memorial!
Not sure which came first, but I have chickens and eggs.

Jeff

Thank you pabst79!

We are doing quite good on our totals this year now! I'll get some totals, but we are close enough to a certain benchmark the memorial might make the Forestry Forum as the entire stage sponsor. Commercials and announcements would say "Appearing on the Forestryforum.com stage, The Guess Who!

That would be pretty durn cool.

Here is roughly what the memorial has in hand related to the forestry forum
Tammy and I $1000
A member matched that, I didn't ask id I could reveal. so now $2000
all other great Forestry Forum Member donations are about $1000 so we are at $3000 total.
Custom Wood Fibers took a $500 sponsorship and will have their logo on the concert shirts,

so, we are at $3500 that we know of.  We just need to get $1500 more to get to $5000 stage sponsor level.  :) :) :)

***IMPORTANT UPDATE***
Dear Friends of the "United By Sacrifice" Concert,
The Committee Members of Coleman Veterans Memorial have been communicating via email to discuss the COVID-19 crisis and how it affects everyone and our Event. We have decided to release this Public Statement.
1. Our Sponsors and donors are small businesses, and individuals have been financially impacted by this crisis.
2. We have deferred on making any decisions about our May 24th event until April 15th.
3. Every decision we make will be guided by the fact that the health of our Guests, Musicians, Staff and Volunteers is our top priority.
4. Ticket Sales will continue online. Tickets are still available at the store locations that we had listed on our Website. Contact them to make sure they still have some left and to make sure they are still open.
5. If we must reschedule, we are actively considering a Postponement till next year. We are hoping that we can still have our event on May 24th but we have no control over this at this time.
6. In the event of a Postponement, All Tickets purchased will be honored at the rescheduled Event Date. Any Sponsor and Vendors paid will be honored for the rescheduled Event. Every decision we make will be guided by the fact that the health of our Guest, Staff, Musicians, veterans, and volunteers is our top priority.
Thank you and God Bless

The United by Sacrifice concert will finally happen this September 11th. 20 yrs it has been since that day.

We were at a board meeting tonight where the rest of the board ifformed me that because of our members, this year at the concert and all the radio ads, they will be saying as an example, "Performing on the Forestry Forum Stage! THE GUESS WHO!!"

They made us the Stage Sponsor!
I say thanks to all of you on behalf of The Coleman Veterans Memorial board.
