Found some at a sale pretty cheap so you know how that gos . one is a vickers vane pump v230, the other is a gresen modal tb, im not much up on my pumps so what can i use these for, woodsplitter , or tractor , or powerunit pto. how much power to run them. and how strong are they?

dustyhat

And can they be direct coupled or belt drivin?

Gearbox

The Greesen is rated at 1200 rpm 3000 psi . the vickers is a vane pump like the Greesen and I don't think it will engage the vanes at pto speed . As far as power needed you will need to give us more numbers off the pumps . Then the rotation may or may not be what we tell you . both can have the rotation reversed by a hyd shop .
A bunch of chainsaws a BT6870 processer , TC 5 International track skidder and not near enough time

my vickers numbers are( v230  8  1c  12) and all i can find on the greeson are modal( tb )  serial no. J9.   just figuring what future project i can do.
