I went with ND only because I have no dog in the hunt and when I voted earlier today, nobody had picked ND at the time.

Right.  I grew up just south of South Bend, and I can't stand ND.  These broadcasters are a little aggrevating in how much they favor ND (or am I just prejudiced by my hatred).

SI made a big deal of writing about how ND, even though they haven't won in the past decade or so, never lost their "mystique."

It appears the only mystique is if they will get shut out or get a consolation score.
