I needed a longer wrench

A really long 3/4 box end as a matter of fact. While looking for an old wrench and a piece of steel to weld it to I came up with this.

I thought I'd try duck tape first with almost no hope of it actually holding but didn't want to dive right into welding a perfectly good wrench.  It worked! Luckily  I only had to hold the nut with this set up. I should have gotten a picture of it in place but it was hard to see.
I did not put this in the grits shortage thread because it actually happened.

That is indeed a long wrench. 

Duct tape comes through again!  I believe duct tape will help overcome the grits shortage.  :D
