First 2022 Ruffed Grouse hunting

Old Friend and Forum member Harold came up to hang at the cabin for a couple days last week. He scored the first bird not 10 minutes after driving in!

Snow? Then no snow?
Stepson had a dog like that. 
We had free range chickens and the dog would go into point mode when he came up.

I got snowed in on the 9th of october one year with 9" of wet snow and the leaves were still on. What a mess!
