do bears use the same trail every year to go back to there dens  the reason I ask is in the past two weeks there has been 5 different  sets of tracks with in about 50ft of each other all going to the juniper patch that is about 40 or so acres  and the tracks don't come out

Some bears use the same den, especially females with cub or about to have cub(s). Yearling cubs may try and go back to the same den that they were born and if the sow isn't using it, they go for it. It is also not unusual for more than one bear to use the same den if they can stand each other.

Doesn't necessarily have to be a "normal" den as many people think, either. I've seen on the TV, and in magazines, bears hibernating under people's decks at their houses. Pull out a piece of the lattice covering and crawl under there for the winter. Some of the sows would give birth there, too.
