What video cameras are you guys using to take videos of falling, equipment operating etc  ???  Anyone using GoPros  ???  I'm curious about this internet video stuff  ;D

A while ago member CCC4 mentioned he used a Contour 1080, but commented on the GoPro.

My Grandson has some sort of camera. Even has a small case for underwater pictures. He used it at the brook. Plug it into the phone and he can view it that way.

From talking to him it seems that the Contour and GoPro have similar features and capacities with the form factor being the real differentiator (bullet cam vs box).  If you do not need the waterproof features there are plenty of other options

^ Added a higher resolution version.  Camera is resting on a stack of end cuts.
GoPro offers a 'viewfinder' back cover available to facilitate setup/framing.

I have the go pro hero3 black 1440p. It works good I have the viewfinder back cover as well which is nice. I have heard good things about the contour too tho
