Smokey the Bear visits the 2009 Forestry Forum Pig Roast

The Forestry Forum Pig Roast was honored to have the chance to get a visit from Smokey the Bear this year. Its a pretty big deal to have Smokey come and visit. He only goes to very select locations and functions and it really is an honor bestowed upon this forum and its membership to have him visit.  Thanks to him and all of those responsible for getting him here.

Great pics, Its great to see the faces for the names, I am sorry we did not make it , but we will try for next year.

Very cool pix!  Sorry I missed Smokey Bear.  I love the one of Jeff and Smokey holding hands and the one of the member in the blue sweatshirt (sorry, don't know who it is) cuddling up to him.

Maybe next year I can make the pig roast if there's no western fires going on.

Kudos to Jeff and Tammy for hosting such an awesome event (and website).
