I live in Denmark Maine and would love to see someone operating a lucas mill. Denmark is near North Conway, NH, but I would be willing to travel anywhere in New England. I am very serious about buying a mill but want to see one before I make the plunge.

Hey hulkie, we already talked but I figured I'd welcome you to the forum. ;D  I've got some logs on the ground now, give a shout if you want to see the mill up and running.  But as I said on the phone, I doubt you'll be disappointed. ;) ;D

hulkie, just want to welcome you to the forum. I went to a sawmill demo, put on by SWOAM,right up by you,Sweden, think that is spelled right, about 15 years ago. I think there was 4 mills there,it was raining. There was a Sanborn,Lucas,Thomas and a Wood Mizer. Spent more time asking that Lucas guy more questions. I never or had seen a mill like that. I saw the article in the local paper,Lewiston Sun Journal.
