Hello, First off I must say. I consider my self a professional with this stove and can easily runi it well and service pretty much anything that can go wrong with it. (I have had to). However I have always cleaned it spotless every 3 weeks, always tested and kept water perfect using the rust inhibitor, and always used ashtorol as recommended. Each spring after cleaning it spotmess inside and out I coat the whole thing in oil inside and out. Its been a great boiler. I bought it used so I have no warente.

However:

My e-classic 2300 just sprung a pinhole leak last night. I put a screw in it to stop the leak, hoping to finish out the winter.
How do people like the new 2400?
would you recommend it?
much of a learning curve?
MSRP of the 2400?
Does CB offer any trade in value on old boilers?

Does anyone know what a referb includes? full fire box replacement? Pricing on referbs?
