Due to the events of the last few years, we have had to downsize seemingly every day to try to keep up with changes in our whole world.  We have lost, traded, sold etc., etc. significant amounts of things.  For our second vehicle, we ended up (from an '07 Nitro) with a '94 Geo Tracker.  The business next to me, specializes in Trackers, building, repairing, selling/buying.  I had him build the '94 for some cash, some trade, some services.  It is/has been a good, reliable transportation.

About a year and a half ago, our youngest daughter moved back to the house, again.  Back when we had resources available, offered and promoted to her, she cast that aside to go and become....otherwise.  The last time she left, it was with great....problems.   Anyhow, this last year and a half, she has regained her health, physically and emotionally and has been working as a Wmart associate and saving for a vehicle.  We have been the 'taxi' for getting her to and from, etc., and we both work, as well.

Oh...and the two youngest, we just could not teach to drive a standard comfortably enough to lead them into today's road/traffic system.  We finally found a vehicle, reasonable (barely within budget) and in very good condition.  However it was a standard and has no power steering.  So, we swapped and sold the daughter our '94 Tracker and took the '98 Tracker that we found.  Worked out well all around, and it is a Tracker, and have a Tracker specialist shop next door to my shop.   ;D

And this one, has a hard top.  Better for 'older folks'.   :D

We have a Tracker in Tenn. They are great in the woods and for a running around vehicle.
The First 70 years of childhood is always the hardest.

'98 was the first year they started putting the Chevrolet name to them rather than the Geo.    ;D

They run and they're paid for, what could be better. I've only owned one new car in my life, and I'll never do it again. Let someone else pay the depreciation.
