Multi-Mix SEF Fuel Question

Hey guys.

I'm new to this forum and fairly new to chainsaws. What's the deal with Multi-Mix fuels 40:1/50:1? My saw calls for 50:1. Should I use the Multi-Mix or should I get one that is specifically 50:1? I don't cut all that much but I would like to save a few dollars where I can but also use what's best for my saw.

Welcome! The multimix is fine. I've used it before. I can't find where they say exactly how they accomplish that. I suspect it's 50:1, with their guarantee it won't break your 40:1 gear(safe bet).
