Hey all

I am new to the forum and just wanted to say hello. Hope to be able to learn a lot from this forum as I'm fairly new to sawing my own lumber. Today I saw with Logosol Farmers M8 which is a new model in Europe, do not think it had come to the United States.
Uses a Stihl MS391 to the sawmill
Here is a short movie when I saw a little this summer.

YellowHammerisms:

Take steps to save steps.

If it won't roll, its not a log; it's still a tree.  Sawmills cut logs, not trees.

Kiln drying wood: When the cookies are burned, they're burned, and you can't fix them.

Sawing is fun for the first couple million boards.

Be smarter than the sawdust

Welcome teed!  The farmers M8 sure looks like a slick setup. Wish it were available in the states. I had looked long and hard at the M7/M8 mills before I came across the opportunity to buy the used Bumblebee I have now. Really like it. Some real nice boards coming off the Farmwrs mill in the video.
Turbosawmill M6 (now M8) Warrior Ultra liteweight, Granberg Alaskan III, lots of saws-gas powered and human powered :D

I really like the sawmill, and it's great if you want to take it with them, as it goes fast to mount up and down. Becomes relatift small as the rail comes in 1 meter pieces, and there is no problem in the car. And the quality is great if you have a good shaped chain.
I made a simple review of the sawmill if you are interested.
