My timber project started 1st week of December. Been challenging doing by myself, have a foot of snow on a 75% finished metal roof. Didnt order enough the 1st time so had to wait a few weeks now its 0 and snow on the ground.

Inside the "new foyer" I used 100+ year old 3×8 barn beams. I wanted 3x12's but wasnt finding what i wanted so i built up from the 3x8's for spray foam. Will leave 6" beam exsposed and i have some old barn wood to go up in between beams

This is what I started with tore down old addition did new footings frost walls and slab with in floor heat.
