Springtime & Allergy’s
« on: March 22, 2006, 11:22:35 PM »
It’s not hard for me to tell spring is here. I’m guessing it’s the pollen that has my eyes are burning, watering. Sneezing, head stopped up. Sinuses infected. Made a trip to the Doctor yesterday, got some pills, a shot in the butt and a referral to specialist for tomorrow. The older I get seams like the worse the allergies get. Anybody else go thru this misery?
Just cause your head's pointed, don't mean you are sharp.

Yep - mine started early this year. I thought it was a cold till it wouldn't go away. Doc said my spray and such were ancient and prescribed new stuff. Sinuses are so full my eyeballs have life jackets. Been going on for nigh unto three weeks and its only March. Worse year for me in quite awhile. Probably have to ask Doc for serious drugs before its over,

Good news is that springs here ( well kinda ) and allergies be DanG .

   Yep spring is here ;D :( ::) :'( :'(

Watery eyes, runny nose, and the sneezing etc

   Went to the Doc the other day, regular doc wasn't in, had to see the new
one. This dude looked like he just got out of jr. high  ::) ::)  But not to fear
he was very good, got the shot, pills, and spray.

WOW I guess I feel lucky.  In the late spring, summer, and fall I take a Clarinin-D and life is better.  You must have it bad if you need a spray and shots!

I love spring but this is the worst time for the sniffles. The sinuses are running like Niagara Falls :'( I take Flonase which helps some.

I never had allergies until I turned 45 years old and it was like someone flipped a switch. I had it real bad that year and real bad every year since.  But my allergies start around August and last until the first hard freeze.  For years I suffered.....and then there was Claritin.....the little miracle pill.
