I have recently cleared roughly 13 acres of fairly dense hardwood.  I need to get
the trees removed from the property, but I really hate to have it all chipped.
Most of the trees are oak and maple with quite a few beech too.  trunks from 6"
to 36".  Most average 18 - 24".  The site is located in Van Buren Township which is about 25 minutes east of Ann Arbor MI.  Does anyone know who to call for the sale of
these, and what roughly the value is per semi load?

Are the trees bucked into log lengths and 100" pulpwood sticks with good access or are they still in tree length? What yet needs to be done to remove them if anything?

Ron,
The trees are all in tree length at the moment.  They were felled with an excavator from the stumps and stacked in rows.  I am willing to to cut them to length, or hire it out to the purchaser.  Access is good, class a roads to site.  Just need some more dry weather!
Also, are they of better use at 8'4" lengths or cut to useable board length?
