A bit more gardening...

Couple of ugly trees at a friends place, One had rotted out roots and dead top, the other hung out menacingly over the neighbors garage. Neither was a "nice"tree, and I wasn't keen on cutting them down.   










But Blair hit nails in Both stumps. Second one he missed by ~1mm and only skimmed the rust off. 

Tentative ID is European Ash, and I was hoping to get some random boards and a couple of small table slabs. But I suspect too many tree huts have been built over the years.  :
