Blade drift, end of board

What would cause board ends to exhibit blade drift, as shown in this run of black cherry boards?

I've been conscious to ensure that everything on my LT-35H is aligned and set properly... fresh blade, blade tension, drive belt deflection, blade tilt, etc. The only item I'm aware of is the drive belt tension was a couple points high (14-->16) for a reason I'm clueless on and decided to leave as is.

There's some minor blade drift mid-board yet the boards are mostly clear, minimal knots.

These 1" boards were from wide cants which split at the pith after cutting, so I edged them down to quarter sawn pieces.

I suspect that the blade dulls faster than I expect or the blade became damaged w/o me being aware of it. I'd tend to just skip to a new blade but perhaps there's something else to check. The blade was fairly fresh.

Close ups photos show sufficient grain deviation at the end of cut to create possible board stress rather than blade drift.

I didn't mention front or back end of the boards because I'm not sure though I expect that by reading the blade chatter lines I might be able to figure this out. However, I hand edged these so I'm not sure I can any longer trust the direction of the lines...

I can provide more photos...

Whether or not those images are at the beginning of the cut or end of cut, they appear to be consecutive passes at one the *end of the boards.
