I downloaded a new updated Flash player from Adobe this morning.  It came bundled with McAfee Security Plus which I don't want any part of.  A quick uninstall got rid of McAfee.

Guess I should do a better job of reading the fine print before I agree to anything.

Yup, there is a box that you need to "uncheck " before the install.  It will also change you to "Ask" without asking.   :-\

Same thing happened to me and I'm usually very diligent with that stuff.

I read a thing where Adobe Flash is open to attack by worms, viruses and various other bad stuff.  Lots of security knot holes.  I fought one till I just got rid of it.

I did this too and am going to uninstall McAfee when I post this.
Never had problems with Adobe.
I run Malware bytes anti malware, CCleaner and super anti spyware, all free versions about every other day.
