i tried a husky 555 saw in the woods working the other day. its awesome. so fast imediate rev ups. i cant wait to get one of my own for limbing and firewood. id even fell some bigger sized trees too with it. great on fuel too. auto tune all the way woohoo.
Local husky dealer here has them marked down to $529 with 20" right now. ;)
that's a super good price. dealers up here getting $600 for them. I cant wait to purchase. ill do my shopping let yall know how much I spent.
Its the Triple Nickel, great saw.
I was at the shop two days ago looking for a new saw to buy soon. The dealer recommended the 555. Told me he has sold 20 or 30 of them and everyone thinks its a great saw.
555 is a great saw. 562 is a super saw.
Do the 555 and the 562 share the same basic components like the 365 and the 372? I notice their both 59 cc saws but the 555 is a 1/4 lighter (12.3 vs 12.5)lighter but the 562 has a half more horsepower (4.7 vs 4.3) THE 555 can be had in the $550 range on ebay and seems like a real bargain while the 562 is $150 more. Is it worth the extra coin for the 562?

555 differences off the top off my head, transfer covers, no bells on crankshaft, small mount bar, no rev boost.
so the 555 is the stripped down v-6 mustang and the 562 is the gussied up v-8 version?
