CTR Log Skidders

I am looking at buying a 2009 CTR 950B.  Does anyone know anything about them?  I have it on the job trying it out right now.  so far so good

Never heard of their skidders, but if it's the same company they make a good buck saw.

Is that a sister to the Prentice machines? I don't know much about them either way.

Its a  good machine i think it has a cummins. prentice owns it

same as a prentice just painted yellow.  I has a cummins motor  not sure what tranny is in it,  john deere winch,  and  out board planetarys so not sure who makes the axles.

The ctr and prentice skidder are basically a timberjack 460. The right to the 460 were sold to  blount when Deere bought out Timberjack.  Later Cat bought Blount. Clark/hurst transmission and axels . Fair machines but parts come through Cat. I find it much easier to provide part numbers to the parts guys who have no interest in or knowledge of this machine.
