Patty was a staunch supporter of the Forestry Forum and even without her voice here, we will will always know that the Forestry Forum became the place where people feel at home, because Patty was a part of it. |

Mr. Tom came to the Forestry Forum on March 27th, 2001. In no time it was clear that Tom was the man to join me as an administrator for the Forestry Forum. Over the years his never ending "Yearn to Learn" and willingness to share everything he knew with anyone he could help, made him a truly irreplaceable and unforgettable member of the Forestry Forum. He was a friend to all, and a mentor and father figure to me. I will always miss Tom and I think of him every single day. He was there for everyone when they needed him, and personally for me for over the last decade.
Brother Noble's first post on the Forestry Forum was on June 10, 2002, 06:32:36 am. I suppose he had just got in the house from doing something he talked about quite often. Taking care of those "Stoopid Cows". Noble had a wonderful, dry sense of humor. Tammy and I were fortunate enough to be able to visit with him years ago at his farm in Southern Missouri. We learned first hand to love this quiet, devout and gentle man with a wicked funny bone.
Noble's family history in the Forest Products industry was amazing, from his Grandfather working in the redwoods, the sawmills that they also had in Missouri to the ownership in the Barker Rim Saw Company. Noble left his family and his Forestry Forum Family far to early, and we miss him every day.
