I'm hoping that you'll start a "Totally Teak"  thread.
The combination of your creative imagination and that amount of high quality teak will make for some terrific projects!
The teak from Ramon is a whole and separate business, moving forward that requires the storage, accounting, advertising and the help of my wife and stepson in setting up the website (teakteakteak.com). It's actually quite a bit of effort getting this thing going. I spent the weekend bidding some rich guy planter boxes and we're offering charcuterie board blanks online as our first go round. One of the challenges is not only selling just the wood, but I need to be responsible for the cutoffs and any waste generated, as technically it's Ramon's wood, not mine. A pic of some of this pretty stuff is attached. tptcuttingboards.jpeg

Looking good fellas. Rob, let me know when you figure out your pricing on those cheese board blanks. I would like tom make some and have them in my inventory, maybe keep one for myself. ffcheesy Besides, I've never worked with teak. My Dad used it for boat work when I was a kid, but if I ever touched a piece of it, I had heck to pay. That and mahogany were things I could look at, but not touch.
You guys are doing neat stuff here, I wish you every success!

Looks like a great site and I wish you the best on your venture! I'd be interested to mess with some teak, as well, when you have it up and going. Not sure if I can afford shipping for it but I'd be very interested to add some to the collection.

Just a note on the site https://teakteakteak.com/inventory%2Fprice-list is a bad scale for the pretty picture you posted above @tule peak timber , though I'm sure y'all are still working on it.

It's no success yet, we still have to earn our first dollar and are far away from a profit. But we are pretty confident and belive it has great potential

We put together a list of sizes available and prices and there are 77 blanks available. Some of them could be cut into 2-3 boards. Some of them are fine as is, size wise. If you'd like a copy of the price/size list just PM me through here or email me: rob@tulepeaktimber.com and I'll send the spreadsheet to you.

This year has been kinda slow on the lumbersales compared to last year and my plantations are in urge of a good thinning, need to cut 1000 trees the next 2 years. So i will go full tilt with a idea i had kicked around for quite a bit. i'm hiring the foreman of the neighbor teakcompany ( he is the last employee there after selling all the sawmill equipment and the clean up, he is also some kind of friend/buddy and has helped me out several times over the last 20 years) , a 25 years experience in teak guy. i decided to go this route and need to do several changes, will do heavy advertising, need to spend/ invest a good junk of money, probably more lumber storage, bigger better more,.... you know what i'm saying.

This will be the billboards, for those who have Instagram, please follow or make a nice comment, it would help me tremendously

Have we been mistakenly calling you Ramon the whole time that your name has been Raymond?

ffcheesy ffcheesy i knew that somebody will point that out, my family was confused also. The thing is this, yes my name is Ramon, but that is such a common name in Latin America, like Jesus or Jose, so my market strategy is to create a brand " call the swiss guy" because we are well know all over the world as honest, correct, punctual, quality work kinda people, we deliver, and i'm proud of it.  just to have this qualities gives me a big big advantage over the costarican businesses (not saying that all are bad but...). so it's a hard sale to have a Latin name as a swiss guy. so now i'm Raymond and i will answer the phone in english. That's also a big relive for the final customer (90% US or Canadian) to be able to call my business and explain their concerns in english.

Congratulations on your new business ventures.

And thanks for sharing the contact details for Tong Fong a while back... I finally ran the new tooling today and was happy with the result.
