Can bugs re-infest kiln lumber?

Back in the summer I placed a load of lumber in my kiln, fast forward to October and it was ready. Life got in the way and I left it in the kiln. The kiln in the winter can still hit 100-110 degrees on a sunny day but obviously not enough to sanitize.
My worry is that from October (the last time the kiln hit 140 degeees) to now, little critters could have got back into the lumber. Am I being paranoid or is that a possibility ?

Sure it's a possibility, but I would say it is very unlikely, especially in the fall and winter.
YellowHammerisms:

Take steps to save steps.

If it won't roll, its not a log; it's still a tree.  Sawmills cut logs, not trees.

Kiln drying wood: When the cookies are burned, they're burned, and you can't fix them.

Sawing is fun for the first couple million boards.

Be smarter than the sawdust

To answer your question, yes bugs (especially lyctid PPB) will reinfest already dry and sterile lumber.

However, since your lumber has been left in a kiln after sterilization, unless you've introduced new, non-kiln dried lumber into the kiln I don't see how bugs could get into it.

I think that you'll be ok.
