Question about a Vermeer SC372 Stump Cutter

Hi folks, I own a Vermeer SC372 I just bought in Jan of this year.   I am having a hard time dealing with this "Operator Presence System".  I HATE IT.   Has anyone figured out how to disable this thing? For any potential buyers I would hesitate buying this because you can't see your work at all while holding onto the handles.  I wish I would have purchased a grinder with a remote option.   Ugh.
